Integrity
2) Doing what you said you'd do
3) Keeping your promises when the other party forgot about it
It's hard to keep up with it. Eventhough there might be times when i'm tempted, to cheat during exams, but i'm glad i didn't. For example the recent Chinese Test (Counted in CA2) I wasss real tempted to cheat, but i didn't. And very pathetically, i got 18/50. But well, at least i'm glad that at least i have integrity! Hahaha.
Why must we have integrity?
1) Integrity will protect you
2) Integrity will cause you to be secure
3) Integrity allows other people to trust you
Hahaha it's true man. Yeah so i've gotta start living with integrity. Instead of cheating, study hard. And my common test is coming, please pray for me to be able to concentrate well, and yeah, ace it, with God, i believe i can :)

Time for Everything, Importancy of Bible
Today's devotion i learn about Time, and the author talked about Psalms 139
1 O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.
5 You hem me in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to [b] me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.
19 If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
20 They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD,
and abhor those who rise up against you?
22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Quiet Time
I realised the importance of my bible, and how much joy it brings to me when i read it, and when i talk to God. I Regretted leaving it there alone, for like how many months, and today my friend talked with me about Christ, i managed to bring him back onto doing his quiet time. I've learnt alot from it myself too. I learnt that the importance of Quiet time, and all those things. I tried to live with integrity today! I kept forgetting and i exaggerated alot. So yeah, gotta pray for me that i can live a week of integrity today! Thank you Lord :)

Care and Love.
Devotion
The story of Jonah shows the attention our Creator gives to All His creatures. The Lord expresses concern not only for the citizens of Nineveh but also for their livestock. Bible too, shows a link between caring for people and animals. The creator gives us reason to provide appropriate, though different, attention to both. If God cares for even livestock, how can we ignore the needs of any person for whon His Son died?
Start Caring for everyone! Eventhough those who hates you, and because if you love, then others will see that you're a child of God because you love :)
God cares for us and calls us to care for His creation.
Quiet Time
Today God told me not to judge, but only God can judge. And sometimes i would tend to judge someone in my mind, and not saying it out. So this is one way of judging too. And because God has seen everything, so we've got no rights to judge. We should love instead, Cause if non-christians see us loving, They'd know that we're Christians.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
- 1st Cor 13: 4-8
Many of times when i'm serving in media, i tend to do alot of mistakes. Like for example for today's projectionist duty, i didn't check the font, and it was wrong. And that caused the whole congregation not to praise, or rather, see the lyrics for the first part of "Free" Just then, the devil striked me. Lol. And told me things like "Whoah 3rd Time already leh! Still make mistake, or like. Seee, you caused the whole congregation not to be able to praise!!" And for the 1st and 2nd time when i served, i encountered this too. But what i did was just to keep it in my heart, Not to let God take it away, or not rebuking satan for his faults, and often feeling guilty after that. But no more for yesterday! I proclaimed in the name of Jesus that we all can do great things thru Christ, and that we're fearfully and wonderfully made. We're not doing the things for Man to see, but God. He sees our heart, it's okay if we make mistakes. Or rather, we all make mistakes. So it's how you got over it, that counts. Thank you Lord ;)

Start of a New Life
18th July 2008
Devotion
Yes i've been pondering about the littlest things we've done. And for today's devotion i read about How little things are, but the consequences is great. And the author said that from a small mosquito bite, he nearly died of blood poisoning. And it's all because of something as tiny as a mosquito. (From "The Daily Bread")
James warn us about another little thing that can also be very destructive - the tongue. Eventhough the tongue is little, it boasts great things. Although the tongue is small, there is nothing small about the damage it can do. Words carry with them the power of healing or a destructive capacity far greater than the poison of any mosquito bite.
So, we must use words with great wisdom and care.
A careless word may kindle strife, A cruel word may wreck a life, A timely word may lessen stress, A loving word may heal and bless. - Anon
The tongue can bring death or life;
those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
-Proverbs 18
It is better to bite your tongue than to let it bite someone else.
Quiet Time
Job 13
20 "Only grant me these two things, O God,
and then I will not hide from You:
21 Withdraw Your hand far from me,
and stop frightening me with Your terrors.
22 Then summon me and I will answer,
or let me speak, and You reply.
23 How many wrongs and sins have I committed?
Show me my offense and my sin.
And God spoke to me that, I should set my focus back to Him, and because i've been escaping reality, and that not to be distracted by things that will come along the way. Things like temptation, like fame, money. But all these things are useless, but what i really need is God, a God that will deliver me from all my troubles. And instead of complaining, I should set aside things, and Praise Him even It's during my tough times. Cause He'd make it better for me, And no matter how hard i try, How the littlest things i've done, He sees it. :)
